This pattern has been our most popular in recent years with many salmon caught on it on the Dee and other Scottish Rivers.

It was a favourite on the Wye and has done well in Wales for salmon.

I tied this initially on aluminium tubes using different hair wings and settled on this pattern.

For a number of years I couldn’t make enough of them to satisfy the demand on the Dee!
